Urm... Suddenly, Miss SP told us about our test that will be held on this Sunday.. So, terpaksa lh stdy chapter 3,4 n 5 in 2 hours.. 1st thing yg sy worry about ialah, bleh kh sy hafal semua tu nnti.. Bkn stakat hafal.. Fhm pun tak coz semua bhasa IT.. What we need to cover up is from chapter 1 till chapter 5.. Waduuhhh... Bio pun dh susah apatah lg CSC134 ni, yg masih asing untuk student sains.. Yg ada dlm otak just physic, biology and chemistry.. Kalo lh CSC ni ada related dgn subject science bleh lh trima skit.. Huhu tp wah... Sungguh asing bagi sy.. What to do.. Just read, make short notes and read over and over again.. Untuk mghabiskan semua chapter what i need to do is gave an attention toward what Miss SP sampaikan .. 

Chapter 3 is all about input and output (devices). 

Input is any data and instruction entered into computer.. But input devices nye adalah any hardware component that allow users to enter data and instruction into a computer.. For example : keyboard, pointing devices(mouse,trackball..etc), game controller,digital camera, voice input, audio input, video input, and so on.

 Next is output which is the data that has been processed into a useful form. Output devices is any type of hardware component that convey information to one or more people.. Its devices such as display devices, printers, speaker, headphone and earbuds/earphone, data projector, interactive whiteboard and tactile output.

 Masok chapter 4 plak... STORAGE..

Storage devices is the computer hardware that record and/or retrieves item to and from storage media. For example , hard disks ( external hard disks. Internal had disk and miniature hard disks). Its characteristic: capacity, platter, read/write headd, cylinder, sector and track, transfer rate, access time, and revolution per minute. 

Next is memory card. It is the removable flash memory devices that you insert and remove from a slot in a computer, mobile devices or cord reader.

For example, compact flash (CF), secure digital (SD), SD high capacity (SDHC), micro SD, micro SDHC, x D picture card, memory stick and memory stick micro (M2).

Next, USB flash drive, expresscard module and cloud storage. Cloud storage is an internet service that provides storage to computer users .. There are variety reason for it, to access files from any computer, store large file instaneously, allow others to access their files, provide data center and store offsite backup.

 Other type of storage devices is optical disk, tape, microfilm and micro fiche, magnetic stripe card and smart card and enterprise storage.

Next chapter is system software which is divided into operating system and utility program. For operating system(OS) is the set of the program containing instruction that work together to coordinate all the activities among computer hardware resources. For example, start and shutdown a computer, automatically update, control a network, monitor performance, manage memory, manage program an establish an internet connection. There are 3 type of OS, stand alone, server and embedded. 

Utility program is the type of system software that allow a user to perform maintenance-type task. For example, file manager, search utility, image viewer, uninstaller, disk cleanup utility, disk defragmenter, backup utility, restoer utility, screen saver, personal firewall, virus, spyware, adware, filter, file compression, media player disc burning software and personal computer maintenance utility. The end.. XOXO
